Architects of digital resilience
Baltic Digital Institute
A foundation that combines research, innovation, deployments and education to make the Baltic Sea region safe, competent and resilient in the era of AI.
About Baltic Digital Institute
Foundation Baltic Digital Institute is a Polish foundation that runs educational, research and deployment work in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. We have been operating since 2021, with our seat in Gdańsk.
We believe technology without conscience is a threat, and technology without competence is just a promise. That is why we build an ecosystem in which leaders, SMEs, public administration and citizens gain access to the knowledge, tools and partners needed for a safe digital transformation.
We operate in Poland and abroad, with particular focus on the Baltic Sea region. We combine research, education and deployments so the region can be safe, competent and resilient in the era of AI.
Our values
Innovation & excellence
We constantly push the boundaries of knowledge and set quality standards in AI and cybersecurity.
Responsibility & ethics
We act transparently with deep respect for human values. This is the foundation of our “Technology with a Conscience”.
Collaboration & openness
We actively build cross-sector partnerships — universities, business, administration, NGOs.
Social impact
We use advanced technology to solve real problems — from safety, through education, to support for digitally excluded people.
Three pillars of work
Education & competence
Courses, workshops and programmes that raise digital skills — from basics (Digital Leader course) to advanced AI deployments in business.
→Research & deployment
Consulting for companies and government on AI, cybersecurity and process automation, based on our own Baltic Operating System (SOB).
→Social impact
Humanitarian aid projects, integration of migrants (in particular from Ukraine), volunteering and support for communities at risk of digital exclusion.
→Our team
The BDI team combines business, academic and social experience. The Foundation cooperates with mentors, experts, volunteers and interns — including IT students who deliver their first production projects at BDI.
